Caring for the Caregiver, A Free Seminar!
Personal Care Inc. and Emeritus at Greensboro are sponsoring a no-cost seminar on caregiver care.
Caring for the caregiver: when families and/or professionals are faced with the care of a loved one or a client, the responsibility can often be overwhelming for the caregiver. The attention and concern are focused on the individual in need of care, but who cares for the caregiver? How does one cope with the stress of caregiving? This introductory session is about understanding our roles as caregivers, and how we must find a path of balance.
Seating is limited, so guests should RSVP to (336) 279-0434 or Greensborofirstname.lastname@example.org by December 10, 2013.
Event details: Caring for the Caregiver, December 12, 2013 at 6pm, hosted by Emeritus at Greensboro, 3823 Lawndale Drive, Greensboro. FREE! Light refreshments will be served.
The session is presented by Clayton Counseling, a service focused on caregiver care. Catharsis. Change. Movement. These are all words that can describe how one may feel when they engage in meaningful therapy. Thoughts and behaviors are directly related, and the combination directly impacts how we interact with the world around us. For caregivers, these interactions are colored by the role we play in care. With your well-being as my first priority, I facilitate a journey where you are the guide. Together, we will walk a journey that explores the issues that are significant to you.
Jody Clayton’s areas of expertise include caregiver care, LGBT topics, and end-of-life issues.
